Leadership Academy
We grow personal leadership in students, educators, and families, and equip our students with the life skills and resilience needed to thrive, adapt, and contribute in a dynamic world. By supporting their education journey and affirming their accomplishments, we encourage leadership in our students. Our “Leader in Me” program provides opportunities for students to practice their leadership skills in a club of their choice.

The Gifted Student
Crown Point Elementary has a Gifted program available to students who test and qualify. Our Gifted program recognizes the unique skills of students and makes sure those skills are being appropriately challenged and developed.

Strong Relationships, Successful Children
Deeper learning takes place when we work together. We take pride in our open communication with both parents and students. Developing relationships with our families breeds success for our students. Crown Point enjoys an award-winning PTA that coordinates fun activities for our families including movie nights, dances, multi-cultural nights, and more! We are always looking for opportunities to build strong ties to our students and families.

A Space Designed for Children
Crown Point’s campus, in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood, features a bell tower which harkens to the importance we put on educating our students. We offer lots of activity on multiple playgrounds, an outdoor track, and a large indoor gymnasium. Inside, we have well-appointed, brightly decorated classrooms with the latest technology.
“As the principal of Crown Point Elementary, I want nothing but the very best for my students. With this vision, I always aim to hire and retain the best teachers and support staff Duval County has to offer. As a team, we develop and implement the most effective lessons and teach our students how to be rising leaders. When students leave Crown Point, we want them to be as prepared as possible as they begin their middle school journey. At Crown Point: We LIVE to LEARN and LOVE to LEAD. WE ARE CPE!” – Principal Brett J. Hartley
