Why Parents Love Englewood High
Englewood’s passionate faculty and staff help students set academic goals and stay on track, while also exploring specialized fields and high-demand careers. For example, our dual enrollment program with Florida State College Jacksonville focuses on manufacturing and engineering, with opportunities to work toward an associate degree, internships, and priority job interviews with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. Our Academy of Sports, Recreation & Entertainment Marketing uses compelling, hands-on techniques to teach brand development, product design, and advertising. Our Communication Academy offers real world media content and production experience in a dedicated, in-house TV studio.
If you ever want to discuss your student’s progress or path, we’d love to hear from you! Englewood fosters great communication with parents. We work to respond quickly to questions or concerns, and we work closely with you to help build your student’s future success.

Why Students Love Englewood High
On our campus, students choose from an exceptional array of educational and inspirational opportunities. Along with exploring career goals and building life skills, they can pursue athletic excellence with any of our 21 sports teams. Our passion for athletics is undeniable but because we’re a best kept secret, your child might have a better chance to make a team and get playing time versus other options. Along with sports, students can join clubs for guitar, drama, dance, robotics, tabletop gaming, anime, and more. School spirit, camaraderie, and support for each other help make a student’s years at Englewood a memorable time of achievement and personal growth.

What Your Children Will Learn
Along with our core classes, we have amazing opportunities for our students including the early college programs in partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and FSCJ.
Our Dual Language program gives students the chance to participate in academic instruction taught in both English and Spanish for math, science, social studies and language arts. The classes consist of Native English and Native Spanish speakers. Students serve as both role models and language learners.
In every class, we offer unwavering support for all of our students, especially those who might need a little more help.

Why We're Unique
Inclusivity is the cornerstone of our school culture. We take the time to learn about each student as an individual with specific strengths and needs. We also encourage our students to treat each other with the same compassion, building a community of diverse young people who choose to understand and support each other. For example, our Best Buddies program forges bonds between special needs and general education students and our Madam Prestige club for girls fosters self-worth, sisterhood, and leadership. The Latino Rams seek out rewarding community service projects while celebrating Latin culture. Our Young Leadership Development Program puts together students from all walks of life so that they can learn from each other and become stronger leaders in college, the military, or a career.
