A Tradition of Loyalty
Generations of the Jacksonville families have made our beautiful 13-acre campus their elementary school. We enjoy a loyal following who continue to support the school that helped shape them. What do former students love about the school? Our teachers find what motivates each child and uses that motivation to make learning fun and engaging.
Extraordinary Support
Lone Star Elementary receives extra funding for support services for its students. We are equipped with high-level technology, laptops and iPads for every student. In addition to rigorous math, science and English, children also benefit from art, music, media and P.E. classes. The extra attention our students receive shows in their performance. The school has achieved and maintained a B grade over the years.
Active school community
Our community of parents and guardians are incredibly active. We enjoy lots of social activities at the school including our Father Daughter Dance and Grandparents Tea. Our events are so popular that sometimes they sell out. And we are never stuck in our classroom seats all day long. The children enjoy a butterfly garden, a scenic courtyard with raised garden beds where our students plant, nurture and harvest vegetables, as well as other hands-on learning with manipulatives and exciting experiments.
