Communication and Social Skills Pre-K-5 Program
Our CSS program serves children with communication and social disabilities, including students with autism. This program teaches students standards while also focusing on providing necessary communication and social skill therapy.

Coastal Sciences Program
The campus has a marine science lab with two large saltwater touch tanks that allow students to reach in and explore sea life. The school also has a 60-year-old tortoise, a turtle, other marine life, an outdoor biodiversity garden that students manage, and a fish hatchery where fish are raised and then released to the wild. By using local habitats to learn, Mayport Coastal Sciences can offer young pupils a hands-on education unlike any other. Mayport Coastal Sciences Elementary allows students to explore the fascinating world of biology, meteorology, and environmental science right in their backyard.

Local Extracurriculars
Fuel the fun of coastal education with after-school programs that allow kids to explore the outdoors, like Riverkeepers, recycling, sea turtle rescue, water conservation, environmental conservation, etc. Currently, students participate in our Kiwanis K-Kids Service Leadership Club, SEA Dads, Cathedral Arts Project visual arts workshop, and Fitness and Character Education (FACE).
