In our little neighborhood school in Arlington, children walk to school where they are greeted by our principal every day. Our school is their home, and we work to ensure that every child gets the one-on-one support needed so they can thrive.

Before children can learn, they need to feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged. In addition to a warm, loving environment, we offer extra wrap-around services to support our families and ensure children are ready to learn.
Where The Newest Teaching Techniques Are Applied
In addition to small class sizes, students benefit from one-on-one attention through special programs with the University of North Florida and Americorps. These future educators are trained in the latest techniques in teaching and help our students in every classroom. This means most classrooms have two adults, creating a unique balance with experienced teachers and passionate newcomers to the field, and students have full-time tutors to assist them.
Academic Enrichment Hours After School
The learning doesn’t stop when the bell rings. TEAM UP is a free after-school program that provides up to three hours of quality tutoring each day, making sure students are where they need to be academically. The added time gives students the opportunity to focus on areas of improvement. It is one of many unique support systems that students and parents enjoy at Woodland Acres.
